I spent Memorial day remembering how no Native American received respect from the Government, ever. My Mother was Northern Cheyenne, and she did not even receive it from my father. Have not been able to enroll, my Mother was in the huge adoption of 1918 so far no luck, but i am Native in my heart, so... Have tried to go to your petition, but cannot get to it to sign. Do not know what is going on. Will keep trying. Another example of no credit for our Warriors... Navajo Code Talkers. No one gave them credit until a few years ago. They were told not to talk about it, and kept their word. Now that is honor! Just to think that these medals were given to them is appalling! Please forgive my rambling my words come from my heart and are moving faster than i can type. I am a Proud Native American x French
