Why Subscribe?
I can see all the pages.
Good question. We refuse to block pages to anyone due to possible finance issues. Yet, we do want to be able to do a couple of things which will require funding. One - the first $5.00 of every $25 subscription will go toward a scholarship to be awarded each year to a Native American student. That person can only be nominated by donors to Whisper n Thunder or subscribers - so that is an advantage. Two - we want to be able to pay our creative group, our writers, photographers etc - an honorarium as Whisper n Thunder progresses. Your dollars will help provide income to those who have worked so hard to provide you with the articles & art. And the vision goes far beyond...
You must be a subscriber to post to the Subscribers Forum. The Forum is the place to comment on articles, offer suggestions etc. Donors & subscribers become part of an email group that will receive updates and information.
In the future we hope to have a writer's camp for kids, and provide scholarships to help our young people be able to go to the camp. Not sure what year that will happen in, but that's one of the goals. We post a newsletter that will be available to donors & subscribers. We will be producing curriculum for student education, holding national conferences, and so much more...
But block pages? Not on my watch...

Whisper n Thunder Winds Scholarship
Whisper n Thunder is pleased to announce the Whisper n Thunder Winds Scholarship. This annual scholarship will be awarded to a Native student entering college, university, or vocational school. See WnT Winds Scholarship page for more information. In 2011 we hope to award 2 Winds Scholarships, with the eventual goal of 10 per year.
NOTE - Only donors & subscribers may nominate a student for this scholarship.
